Is it required for foreign degees evaluation?

I attained Ph.D degree from the best University in a foreign country. I must get the degree evaluated, right? May i just submit the translation copy with official stamp of the foreign University.

No, you need to have an official evaluation. There are several companies out who do that for a reasonable price

If you are on H1-B, then I think you must have credential evaluation.
