IS it possible if someone has interview for greencard outside US in F1 category and before coming to US gets married what will happen.

mother (a US citizen) applied for unmarried son for greencard.Now son has interview for greencard abroad.After the interview but before landing in US can he get married outside US or if he marries what happens.

Not quite understand your question. Outside US in F1 category? Any visa category refers to inside of US.

Sorry about that i meant unmarried son of US citizen.I think its family based 1st preference.

Of course he can get married, but the consequence of it would be a long time wait for his wife. She would need to get a visa as a spouse of a green card holder (LPR).
