Is it possible to get 485 approved without FP ?

Now a days so many crazy ideas are coming in mind and this is one of them.
I am waiting for my first FP1 for more than a year and curious know if it ever possible for get I-485 approved without doing FP or Can USCIS take FP at the time of stamping ?
Asking this weird questios because I am losing all my hopes and patience.

No. FP is mandatory, as USCIS needs to perform a background check at FBI. Without FP, I-485 cannot be approved. Although VSC seems to defy common sense and logic at times...

Personally I never heard of any I-485 approval without FP. But mistakes happen

U can apply for EAD/AP or any thing else which needs reference to I485 file, which may subsequently trigger FP notice. Even in my case i applied for EAD/AP recently, which resulted in FP. See my signature for dates.
