Is it possible to file I-140, even if we are not working with the employer?

I applied for Labor in Sep 2012 while I was working with Emp A. Mid of Oct 2012 I started with Emp B.
The Labor that we applied in Sep 2012 with Emp A got approved. Me and Emp A are in good terms and he is OK with me going forward with applying I-140.

My Question: Can I do it with out recent pay stubs from Emp A. My recent pay stubs are from Emp B.

If employer A is able to show proof of net income or net current assets equivalent to prevailing wages, you dont even need to be on their (employer A's) payroll for I-140 to be approved.
