Is it possible to do FP2 without any schedule/Notice?

My FP1 expired in Dec 2003. I haven't received my FP2 notice.

Recently, when I spoke to my Attorney (in fact his assistant, I don't know a qualified Attorney or an office Assistant), they suggested me to go to Boston and get my FP2 done. They asked me to show my current EAD, passport and D/L as proof.

But, I have my own doubt about getting FP2 without any schedule or notice.

Guru's any ideas?

Yes you can.

Even without second fp notice, you can give fp's. But

1. it is up to officer as to take or reject you.

2. If you give fp's without notice, fp results may update in your file. But it may not show in NCSC system as they keep track by bar code that appears on notice.

This is what exactly happened in my case. I gave second fp in local INS in January this year. Even today when my lawyer calls NCSC, they tell system doesn't show my fps.
But one girl who went after 15 days without notice got rejected by officer. So you can try by going there. Its all u r LUCK!

It's better to go for FP with the Notice.
