what is latest RD for NYC approval?
Does it have a similar pace as other state?
I heard NYC filer always take longer time getting approval due to tranfer, it is ture?

Mine transferred on Oct 28, 01 to NYC ...

but the next day I was laid off. No job so far.

Now I am wondering are you sure that currently cases are being transferred just to process the approval with no further delay?

Yes, I did receive an interview letter indicating that I will be contacted again for the date and time of the interview. The letter does not say I am approved; it\'s just a transfer notice. Now I am happy to hear what you announced. Any further news?

I just got approved in NYC and that did not involve a transfer to the local INS office.

Yes, mine is transferred with the following info:

My RD received in August 2000, ND in Septemeber 2000. FP taken in November 2000, Interview Notice/letter received on Oct 28, 2001. Now I am just looking for a similar job before the interview date is announced.

Are you resident of New York? or you work in New York but residence is in a neighboring states like NJ or CT. Pl give us your RD, ND, FP and any REF. I will appreciate and thanks in advance.
 
I am ewsident of NY

and not neighboring states. my RD is Sep xx, 2000. My file was transferred from VT to NY on Oct 28, 2001. No interview date was sent to me yet. Only the interview letter was sent to me indicating the location.
