Is it possible I-551 gets rejected even if the passport is stamped?

I had my passport stamped on 12/3. I understand the stamp is good for a year. All my I-94s, EADs and APs were taken away. Is it possible I-551 gets rejected even if the passport is stamped?

It can not be rejected unless a fraud is detected ( i.e. CP and never working for sponsoring employer )

Do you mean being refused re-entry at POE? Or are you talking about USCIS is refusing to issue plastic card even after stamping?

Anyway, there are wide range of reasons USCIS can revoke green card anytime or BCBP can refuse re-entry at POE anytime. Fraud, GC conditions (residency etc), criminal activity are just a few of them.
