Is it possible for a married(+children) man to apply for himself alone ??

I have a friend in India. He is married and having 2 children. He is planning to apply for Canada. Once he will land in canada, he will sponsor his wife and children.

Is it possible ?

Reason he is not applying his dependents now, because he has to pay application fees for all and show funds accordingly.

Any advice appreciated.... thanks.
 
Not possible

The applications forms indicate that the applicant must list his dependents and marriage status and further changes must also be communicated to them.

Well, the applicant will mention all dependents and married status also in application. Only thing is he dont want to apply for his wife and kids at the same time. He will do it later. And he is not going to hide any truth from Canadian embassy in his alone application.
