Is it okay to cross out mistakes and rewrite?

Sometimes I don't get everything right the first time.
Is it actual humans doing the reading or machine?

I personally wouldn't want to risk it and start fresh. You can also fill out the form on the computer and print it out.

Better to reprint the page with the mistake and fill it in correctly.
