Is it ok to work based on Fedex Confirmation ??

Hi,
I am working for company A, company B applied for H1-B transfer regular way 10 days back and have not got the receipt no. as yet. They have agreed to change it to premium processing but say that they can do it only after receipt no. comes.

They are saying that since the receipt no. may take 2-3 weeks to come I should start working for them based on Fedex confirmation. Is it ok to do that?

This is urgent, could someone who knows about this please respond?

please dont start working until you get the recept notice with EAC# from USCIS.

I am in a similar condition. I transferred my H1B from one company to another. My new company wants me to join from Oct 1 however dont think I will have receipt by that date. I talked to Attorney's at Fragoman. They mentioned that it is okay and legal to work on Fedex receipt.

Starting work based only on FedEx is a risk. To be safe, wait for receipt number.
