Is it ok to file two NIW cases, one self-petition and one sponsored-petition ?

Hi, Gurus:

Our immigration officers are not convinced that I qualify for strong ea case and suggest me to try NIW. My question is, after my employer's petition, can I submit a duplicate self-signed petition for my own career flexibility? (both in NIW) Shall I send the duplicate to another center?
