Is it ok if a person on EAD work on 1099?

Is this ok if a person on EAD can work on 1099 insted of W2.
Is it ok if I submit my paystub with 1099 with current employer for RFE.

You can use EAD to work on 1099. EAD authorizes you to take any paid job you want. However, if RFE is generated during I485 period for employment letter, 1099 is not sufficient, because the job is supposed to be permonent, while 1099 is for temperary worker.

My current employer is giving me the employment letter to work as permanet employee once I get my GC as they are also mentioning that I m working for tham as permanent employee.

In this case, I don't think you will have any problem as long as the job offer is similar to the one mentioned in your LC.
