My ND is : 01/15/02
WAC-02-089-XXXXX
FP done: April 23, 2002
AP valid till january, 2004
EAD valid till june, 2004

I am palnning to visit INDIA for 3 weeks may be next month firstweek and my wife wants to stay for at least 2 months my question is : how soon can i expecty the2nd FP? please can somebody advise?

Is there any problem, If i am out of country while my I485 approved? How can i manage?
 
it is very very hard to guess when you will get your 2nd fp, except that you probably won't get it before it expires. You did yours on Apr 23, so it will expire, april + 15 months = july end.

Probability viz. it looks pretty safe, but have someone monitor your mailbox here.

Plus when you do get your FP notice, it will have a date in it which will be another month ahead. .. BUT DON'T MISS THAT DATE. :)
 
reschedule ?

Never , No , Nada , Nahi, Na , Nai

Unless and until it is absolutely absolutely necessary don't do it.
 
Thanks vipsha. I've heard from other sources as well that FP rescheduling is a bad idea. Do you know why is that?

Why? Simple: delays.

Even on the FP notice form INS says: "yeah, you can reschedule, but it will delay your case by at least a couple of months".
