is it normal?

My husband and I got our 3rd EADs last month, but the USINS web site has not been updated. So we have never got emails from them. Is it normal? The reason I am asking here is that we just moved to new house and address is changed. If the mails are not forwarded to me(it happens), then I won't know anything about my I485 approval.

Does anyone have same experience about this?

You should fill AR-11 within 10 days after moving to a new address and also you need to call the NCSC and updated your new address on every pending application with CIS. If you have not done so, then do it immediately otherwise you will miss all CIS communication as CIS mails are not forwarded by post office.

We've already done it. But I still worry about the mail forwarding system. One of my friend got mail lost after they moving. If USINS web site is updated after approval, it shouldn't be problem.

In my case the change of address in April '04 is not updated in my case status. But my wife's status has been updated. We are getting mails from USCIS (for instance my FP2 notice) to the new address.

So, I think it is normal. But, it is better to call USCIS and confirm about the address change.

Call the 1800 number and Ask them what address is in their file.

Your concerns are genuine, do as what everyone else says, file AR-11 and also important you change address with Customer Service for all your pending applications.

There is not much to worry about, if you have good relationship with lawyer, they get copy of everything, they would be able to call you if they receive anything for you from USCIS. I am also in the same boat.

Filing AR-11 does not gurantee address change. I did my address change, never received any sort of confirmation. I guess wait and see if any notices come to new address. To make sure, you can call them directly for address change and they will put it in the system.

AR-11 is not enough

It clearly mentions that AR-11 does not update addresses for any pending USCIS applications. You need to call their 1-800 number and update. Meanwhile, if you are expecting approval in a few days - you may try contacting your post office for mail forwarding [may not work - in that case, it will go back to USCIS]. I would also call a second time to verify if the address change indeed took place.

Don't worry,
Wait for a week or so. USPS will forward to your new address. They are kind enough to do so. Make sure you file address change with USPS also.
I got my 3rd EAD at new address forwarded by USPS which was orginally mailed to my old address.
Interestingly EAD approval mails do not have "Return Service Requested"
Keep watching mail-box.

Good luck

I don't worry about my EAD since I already got one. Do you know I485 approval mail has "return service requested"?

Thanks
