Is it normal for my case not to update online

We had our interview this past Tuesday and got approved on the spot the IO actually printed the approval letter and initialed it which was a good thing no more stress, but my concern is that when checked both I-485 and I-130 status are still showing received and pending on the USCIS website. Is that a normal thing ? :confused:
 
yes -- my case is last updated December 2005 :)

once the your local office takes care of your file, they do not update main system until your petition is finally denied or approved. then it will be updated, in the meanwhile you suppose to get local infopass in inquiry in person.
 
thank you for all your your responses i finally got an email from cris today saying that the card has been ordered.
 
that's good to hear that recently a lot of cases have been taken care of in very short amount of time (couple to few months) :)
