Hi,
is it a must to submit past 3 year w-2\'s.

my lawyer ask me the last year\'s w-2.

i do not have a W-2 for 1999 but i have w-2 for 2000 and 2001. as i donot have a job for one year (1999) and i was not paid. last week i completed my finger printing at boston.

Am i going to get any problems in this final stage?
if any one have faced this kind of situation ,pls help me?
how to come outfrom this Greencard puzzle.

Thanks

No, it\'s not necessary

but I did send the W2s and tax returns. It\'s just that we have seen
so many people getting RFE on these documents so we tend to submit these documents.

I don\'t think so. If you are not in job, obviously you can\'t produce W-2 forms for that year. But INS may ask you why you are unemployed and what is your status in that period (in case you are on H1-B1)? Because unemployed on H1-B1 for a period of one year considered out of status. You may be approved without any hassle or the INS interviewer may ask some questions such as why you haven\'t paid for one year. Be prepare and good luck.
