I used CPT to do an internship and after CPT expires, there are many hours accrualed (annual leave and sick leave), now I am waiting for OPT, but the payroll told me that I have to submit time cards and charge the accruals even if I don't work, otherwise I will loose my health insurance. I have enough annaul leave and sick leave hours to fill out a few time cards when I am waiting for OPT to be approved. My concern is, even I am not working, I get paid, is it legal? It's an off campus job.
