I'm on H1 since 1998.i got married and my wife came on H4 in march 2001.
She converted her status to F1 in Dec 2002 after she got the admission
in Universaity.She went to India in jun 2003 and got appeared for F1 visa
at Chennai consulate.She got the F1-Visa.embassy people asked about
my 2003 W-2 forms and she showed them.They asked her why my earnings are so low.
she said i'm in the bench in Comapnay 'A' for 4 months as she thought she wouldn't
get visa if she didn't give proper explanation.
She also told to embassy people that
she is not sure about that as my husband knows more about it.
they asked her to sign it on paper which contains that company 'A' kept me in the
bench without paying me.she signed it.Embassy people told her that they just find out
why they haven't paid me in those 4 months.
Actually thats not what happened while i was with Company 'A'.
I applied H1 transfer Thorugh Company A around April 3rd week.
company A lawyer suggested to wait till i get my H1 Approval.
i got h1 Approval in sept End.i got paid since that time till i lfet
the company.Company A signed the employment with me on Oct 1 onwards even though
i'm waiting for my H1 approval.
is it going to be a problem as she sigend it that company A
kept me with out paying salary?bit worried as my Gc process started.
