Dear All,

I'm from Asia Region, my case number is 2008ASXX14XXX, i called KCC and they told me that they scheduled my interview August 12 in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, while preparing my papers i found that my Husband who filledout all the forms commit a mistake, he put my certification graduate date 1997, while my actual graduation date is 1998, i'm the principal Applicant, so any way to rectify this mistake?
or shall i keep everything as it is and explain to them in the interview day while showing all the original papers?

thanks all

You can do nothing at this time. Once KCC has scheduled your interview the case is under consular processing.

However, there is nothing to worry about, tell them to correct the mistake and you are fine :)

Good luck for the interview.

No, it is not a killer mistake! Example: I messed up my Dad's first and middle name (flip-flopped it). I never knew that we had been calling him by his middle name all these years, haha. In fact, when I asked him about it, he did not even know what the actual name on his birth certificate shows (since everybody called him by his middle name since he was born). Anyways, the consul actually caught the mistake and changed it on the application during the interview.......in your case the consul will do the same....that is if he/she even cares to figure out the tiny mistake. If you really want to, I guess you could mention it, but it is really not that big of a deal. No worries whatsoever!

I was at Riyadh embassy on the May 5th 2008 for my DV2008 interview the officers who collecting the paper are very nice they didn't even asked about any Graduation date and when I handed over my Master degree he said "I just want your High School Diploma" with the translation. But one thing you have to make sure about it is to take the oath and you sign the application by the end of the interview because sometimes they forget to ask you that after long day of work this happened to me I had to travel back to Riyadh and give the oath, and sign the application.

i think what counts is the level of education. It should not be a killer mistake unless you provided wrong personal details such as date of birth or wrong photgraph.

cheers!!!
