Is it a alternative for F1 to hold business

I know that F1 visa holder can not run a business himself. I don't know if the following alternative is reasonable.
The business I will want to do is a software dealer. Now I won't do it myself. I ask someone that legal for it to appy for the dealership from the software company. But I invest all the money needed on it. That is, the software company keep the information of my person, not mine. Then I put the ad and something like that myself, no more things I need to do. Then the company pay all the money to my person and I get part of the money, the rest is belong to my person. Also My person is responsible for the contact and also the tax. I don't know if this can be seen as investment. I don't know if it is legal for me to do so and also is there any trouble for my person?
P.S. I don't want to register a company.

Maybe I don't express it clearly. I mean that I am not the contact nor the man that pay tax. All the formal work can be done by my "employee". I just invested money. The work load is just 4-5hours/month. JUst like sending postcards which get directly from the company under my empolyee's name. Who knows who sending the postcards? This is just the work. In my opinon, if he does it legal, that's all right. Am I right?
P.S. Does it has any percentage limitation of the dividend? Can I get it every month?

I become more and more clear on this point. I want to make sure if I really understand. I postulate the following condition: One of my friend who is legal do anything in US tell me, "Hi! I find that being a softeware dealer can make some money, but it need some initial fee, and I am out of money now, so could you invest half of the money on it and I will give you half of the commissions I earned." I agree and give him the money and he bacomes a dealer, then all the things are runned by himself. When he makes money, and give me half of the commisions. I don't do anything for him, and now if I am legal from your opinon? You just talk about the company in the last post, so I am not very clear if it is alright.
P.S. I still have a question, how the govenment find out that I am doing such kind of illegal things as I stated in the proceeding post. This may be stupid, but I really don't understand.
