Is I765 Finger Print card needed for EAD Renewal? please help

Attorney says no. but the forms clearly (in bold) states I765 Finger Print card, copy of old EAD, copy of I94 and check for $120. Anyone renewed EAD recently has any idea? thanks

Renewed EAD from Denver,CO last week.
All you need is copy of current EAD(front and back), copy of 485 receipt (front and back) and a money order or cashiers check for $120
Stand in line at 5.30 AM or it will take all day.
