Is I485 RD and ND the same?

Some times, when you filed your paperwork BSCIS will issue the receipt. in that you have Receipt Date and Notice Date.

They will issue on the same day too....

For my first H1 RD, ND are same and my Approval DT just 3days after. (approved in 3days).

You're confusing the issue. There is a difference between the receipt date and the received date. The receipt date is the notice date (ND).

However, when people on this forum talk about the RD, it's not the receipt date, but the Received date (RD). This is the date that 485 petition was actually received by the USCIS. It then undergoes some preliminary processing before they are ready to issue you a receipt notice. The day that is issued becomes your ND.

Check your receipt carefully - it has both the RD and the ND on it....

So which date should I go by when checking online status. On the online status, it say your application is received on June 25, 2002. Why haven't I got notice to do finger print?
