Is H4 Valid After applying for SSN

I want to know if my wife's H4 is valid is her first EAD gets approved and she applies for SSN using her new EAD and choose NOT TO WORK ON EAD.

peace of mind is right. It is valid. EAD gives you the option to work and you can (or not), per your discretion.
