Hi,
I've recently changed my employer as i was having some issues like not releasing my H1 original and even a copy of it etc. I had my H1 transfer done without a copy of previous H1 and now planning to go to Canada for stamping. Is my old H1 original/copy required for H1 visa stamping? Do they ask for it at the consulate? I've filed an immigration complaint online against my previous employer for not releasing my H1 docs recently. Is there a way that i can get the H1 original from him if it is a must for H1 stamping? I can't even request for a copy from INS as the date for stamping might fall before i get a duplicate from INS. Plz advice.
