Can Parole status change to H1 Status?
Another company is going to acquire my spouse company. We understand that the new company is going to applying H1B amendment with I-129 petition (on I 129 option they have checked on amendment (option 2f)). If my spouse uses Advance Parole, spouse’s status becomes Parole.
1. After using Advance Parole, is my spouse eligible for H1 amendment?? I know that we can apply H1 transfer/H1 extension, but not sure about amendment.
2. If yes, When new company applies H1B amendment, is my spouse status change from Parole to H1 Status??
