Is FP required to get 140 approval??

I see a lot of 140 approvals for the year 2004 (all the way till June) and I was wondering if I can get lucky (My RD for 140 is 8/27/04)... I didn't do FP yet. I kind of feel guilty for this post with lots of applicants waiting for years ... my intention is not to upset you guys.

No. FP is not required for 140. Only that if there is a RFE on 140 in preliminary check itself you will not get FP/EAD/AP.
