Is FP Notice valid for 90 days..?

Hi Gurus,

1. I have read that FP notice is valid till 90 days "after" the scheduled date - is that verified by INS? Would it not mean abandonement of 485? If true, if I have FP notice for 1st April - I can go in on any wednesday/saturday till 1st July and get FP done???

2. If FP is rescheduled, does that slows down 485 process? I mean, do they wait till receiving FP back before proceding further or they keep processing the file parallely?

From what I have seen and little knowledge I have... yes they seem to suspend the processing until they receive the info. I could very well be wrong... and I hope so.
