Is Fingerprinting valid across 2 I485 applications ?

Hi,
My case is a little complicated.

Through company A
---------------------
140/485/ead applied Nov 2003 at CSC
FP done: Feb 2004

Laid off in March 2004 and joined company B

Through company B
---------------------
140/485/ead applied Jun 11 2004 at CSC
No FP notice yet....


Is there any chance INS is using my earlier fingerprints from my old I485 petition for the latest 485 ? I am starting to get a littel confused because its been 2 months since I filed the 140/485 and I have not recieved any FP notice....


Anyone who has been in this situation, please help.....

Did you withdraw your old 140/485 petitions? If not, then you have two 485 pending which is uncommon. USCIS suggests you should have only one 485 pending or else it will cause delays.

I havent withdrawn the old 485, I am not sure if my previous employer withdrew my old I140....

Since the INS told me that the old EAD is still valid, I am assuming they will also use the old fingerprinting from my previous application and not call me again for a fingerprint......
