Looking at the way things are moving, my I-140 might get approved in a month or so. My spouse just did his finger printing for Naturalization application. And there's a likely-hood that he would become a citizen early next year.
Question: Is that possible to file I-485 with I-140 approval and later file another one once my spouse has obtained his citizenship? The reason we want to do this is I might want to quit from my current company but do not wish to lose the time in queue. And, the N400 wait time varies from case to case.
Advise? Comments?
