Is FBI check completed?

Hi,
I received an email from USCIS this morning. I did my FP last week. Does this email mean that my FBI check is completed, and my processing resumed. How long does it take to get the approval once we get this kinda of email.

I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were
received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

FP and Name check are Different.......
You might have had your Fps results in order but the name check is something totally different.
Mind you you might have cleared your name check too.but merely reading the Fp results LUD does not mean you have your name check in order.'
Sorry to dissappoint you.......But I am one of the casualties of the name check
 
Send email to FBI. There is not other way to find it out. But beware - you will not get reply for months sometimes.

Yes. They are supposed to send it. This email ID is used for this purpose only. But it is impossible to tell you how long they might take to reply. Some people get it in a week or two, some keep waiting for 4 months. If you do not get reply in first go - send another one after 4 weeks and then another 4 weeks and so on.

Just called FBI and confirmed that FBI Name Check was done the same day I did FP and sent back to INS. Never thought that INS would be so proactive!!
 
This is the no. for FP status check. They usually send the report back within 30 minutes.

The name check enquiry # is 202-324-2399. Looks like....this will need a lot of patience!
