Is educational requirment important

If the original petitioner had filed for labor certification where educational requirement was a master's degree, and if I change job using AC-21 to an employer that requires only a bachelor's degree, would this be an issue? Does BCIS check for educational qualification requirements of the job as per labor certification at I-485 stage, or is it only checked at the labor certification stage by DOL? The impression I have got so far is that it is the salary and the job description that is important, but I have never heard about educational requirements. Could you please share your views?

Thanks in advance.

Educational verification is done at the I-140 stage and it should match with DOL labor certification. I am not sure whether INS checks educational qualifications in the I-485 stage.
