Is EAD renewal tansparent process.?..

I mean , is this something that your lawyer does on your behalf without you seeing any papers work ( signing forms) etc...
One of my friend told me that he never saw any paper but confirmed with INS that his application for EAD renewal is with them( INS). Note that he did not sign any paper/form..

I got my EAD renewed recently. I had signed the form. Contrary to what you have heard getting a new EAD or renewing an exisiting one is your sole responsibilty and not that of your sponsoring company. If your friend's lawyer did everything for him then all I can say is that he's got a helpful lawyer.
