Is e-filing EAD renewal faster?

Hi:

Mods closed down my other thread (which clearly said "E-File is broken" in the subject -- which I thought was a good way to keep all the broken e-file related discussions in one place) so I am starting a new thread.

I have tried e-filing three times over the weekend but did not have any joy. I am ready to give-in and do a paper file today or tomorrow. I have about 4 months pending for the EAD expiration and I would be filing the application in vermonth service center.

Can anyone tell me if e-file is faster than paper-file? In that case, I would wait a couple more days and try several more times to do an e-file.

Thanks in advance.

I do not think E-file is fast (May be slower). Last time when i filed on paper for wife It took 29 days precisely. My friend who used E-filing, got it after 2 months.

Besides you need to go to CIS office.

I don't think it matters whether you e-file or paper file. Going to the CIS office is no big deal, you take an appointment and go for your finger printing. Go 15 minutes before your scheduled time and you should be out in 10-15 minutes
