Is Criminal Case cause my citizenship?

Namaste,

I am Indian living in US with Permanent Resident(GC) since 4 years 6 months. I do not have any criminal and violation Record in my life either in US and INDIA.

My ex-wife filed criminal case against me “Ch.256 Sec 13A A&B(Domestic)” , This is pending in court.

I will get punishment/penalty “house of correction not more than 2 years 6 months or not more than$1000 fine” if I will be guilty in this case .

I would like to file N400 application for US citizenship once this case is over.

Please let me know,

1) Is this criminal case effect US citizenship process?

2) What to do to get US citizenship? Is there any way?

3) I would like to do 2nd marriage . Please let me know what is the easiest process to get 2nd my wife without US citizen

2) Show good moral charachter for 5? years, all on the USCIS web site.

3) Marry a USC or GC Holder. Or somebody who can otherwise qualify for a visa allowing dual intent.
