I have applied for I485 on April 30. Waiting for receipt notice. If I do my CP in Mexico will it be faster to get 485 approved? Any advice is appreciated.
This is the process:
1. You file form I824 (Approved in one month Hopefully)
2. INS sends all information to National Visa Center (1 month)
3. Set up time with CP in Mexico. It is taking around 3-4 months
4. Set a interview date and be done. So overall it is taking around six month-seven months. In the meantime while doing 485 you will have EAD and 180 days rule. Enjoy..
