Is Courtesy Copy for Approval enough to get Passport Stamping in Boston ??

Hello Friends..
I just have the courtesy copy of my I-485 approval. Can I go to the INS Boston to get passport stamping ?? Any experiences ??

YES, Courtsey copy of 485 approval is sufficient to get your I-551 stamp. I did it on last friday and it was successfully done (This is just my personal experience not a legal advise).

I have a question for experts, As mentioned above I got my I-551 stamping done on last friday for myself, wife and 2 years old daughter. I am planning to visit outside United States for a month or so. Do I need to wait for plastic card? or I-551 stamp is sufficient to reenter U.S?
