My girlfriend from thailand has just three weeks to interview at the bangkok embassy for a B2 renewel she used her B2 to successfully visit US last year and left on time when she was supposed to. Now this year she is returning.
We have talked about her getting a F1 visa and going to school here but can't arrange admission to college in the short time we have untill interview. My question is can she arrive with B2 visa and then after locating a college with the disired course change her visa status to a F1? And could this cause any problems down the road?
