is Concurrent Filing slow ??

Gurus,
please help me , I am dilema .

We are filing I-140 and I-485 at Texas Service Centre .

Some one informed me that if we file concurrently I-140 and I-485 it is getting slow ?

Friends are recommending first file I-140 and wait for 4 months and file I-485 .

well how to put it in the best way,

there are people who have filed both together on oct/nov 2003 and ahve got both I-140 and I-485 approval together.

There are those that filed earlier and even in 2002 and are still waiting....

This is crapshoot, so do whatever at ur own risk,

there in no descernible pattern in this USCIS chaos.

I have filed concurrently in Oct 2003 and also have done FP. Still no movement on my case...

Filed concurrently on 4/21/2003 and did finger printing in August 2003. No news afterwards. They have no reason to delay ours since Ohata Memo specifically says that processing dates for concurrent filers should go by I-140 time not I-485 time.

It's Confusing

Few Peopple say Co current filing is fast. Few say 140---->CP is fast.
I do not know. I here both views.
It's very confusing.
please let us know if some body has clear picture of it.

tha is because no one knows, if u check the last two murthy bulletins they say the same, thinga are random.....
