Is Cashier's check acceptable or Washington DC needs Money Order only for renunciation?

I got Cashier's check but saw that Washington DC website mentions they accept payments in the form of Monry Order for renunciation.

Has anybody tried Cashier's check instead of Money Order at Washington DC?
