Is AP valid for reentry if i-485 approved

Hi,
I have received my green card but my wife has not been approved yet.
we are travelling to India. My wife will be using AP for travel.
my question is If she receives her i-485 approval when we are in India then what will happen when we come back to USA at the port of entry. has anybody gone through this?

Your Wife has to use the AP. At the port of Entry they will stamp her AP with the Date Of Entry. When you go for Pass Port Stamping after i_485 approval, Make Sure that you carry this AP ( along with other AP's you have).

Our I-485's got approved while we were on vacation in India, we returned using our AP's.
