Is AP processed by BCIS

Hi ,

Can some tell me if AP is processed by BCIS or if it is processed by some third party contractors ?

My current AP will expire in NOV.

I planning to send renewal of AP hoping atleast it will trigger some officer to look into my case

Initial receipt is done by BCIS. Then it is done by some other vendors. My wife's AP case approved on July 23rd, 2003. Notice Date is July 9th 2003.
 
AP is renewed by BCIS or at ur local office if its an emergency travel but it has no triggering effect on I-485 approval as AP & I-485 approvals r done by different departments.......I applied my AP on june 15,2003 & got approved by july 15, 2003
