Is anybody filing in July 2007?

Hi,
I was wondering if people are continuing to file for I485 in July despite the numbers being unavailable. I read Rajiv's post about most people should file. I talked to my lawyer who leaves it upto me. What is everyone's opinion? Does it make sense to file or wait? I suppose one issue would be of money- lawyers fee, medical check ups (as the originals would be with the packet and to get duplicates would cost money)...

I am planning on sending my application on July 27th via overnight mail so that it reaches USCIS on July 30th. Hopefully, they will not reject my application as I would have paid the new increased filing fee ;) .

On a serious note, I am planning on filing the I-485. My employer is dilly-dallying abt the employment verification letter. Should I choose to go with company attorney, he has no problem. Otherwise, he is saying that he needs to get clearence from the company lawyer before he can give me the letter. And because of the July VB fiasco, he is saying that we need to wait and watch what is going to happen.
