Is Address Change is a issue in 485 stage?

Hi All

I got my labor cleared. I wanna file 140/485 concurrently. At the same time my project also getting over. I am consultant, right now working in Michigan. My parent compnay is in California. They will file from California Only.

Last day of my project here is March 31st. After that I don;t know where I will be. Is is make any sense to wait to relocate to new location and then file 140/485. or it doesn't matter.

I am just wondering, if I file right now, do I need to Inform INS for 140/485 purpose about change of my address

I think you file 485 where compnay head office is? It doesn't matter where r u working, I mean somw other USA State (as a consultant).

Normally for travelling consultant there is a clause in labor certification which covers the travel aspect such that LC is not affected due to change of work location. And due to this travel element the GC process is done from the HQ of the company which appears to be in california in your case.

Check with you lawyer and definitely file AR - 11 within 2 weeks of address change
