Is a new I94 issued with a H1b amendment?

I ask this question because my wife need to file another H1b amendment
due to job function change, she has a previous H1b amendment due to
work location change. Now we need to find the most up-to-date I94 but
we are not sure and can not remember whether a new I94 was issued for
her last H1b amendment. Sounds silly but any help will be highly appreciated.

I filed amended H-1 last year. I-94 # on the bottom of approval notivce remained same, so no I-94 number change. I have same I-94 number for my F-1, H-1, and the amended H-1 (I never left US).

I have a question. My husband has H-4 visa. My empolyer filed H-1 and H-4 for us two years ago. When last year, my employer filed the amended H-1 for me, they said my husband didn't need to do anything on his H-4. Is this correct?
