Had my interview 4 monts ago, the officier told me he didn't have my file in the system so he can't approve right away. Told me to wait abt 2 weeks for him get my file and approve me. He didn't have my file cause i was in removal, but the terminated it and ICE didn't sent my file to the local office. Now it been 4 months, i did infos pass. The officier told they received my file to come back in 2 weeks if dont get anything. 2Months latter did another infospass they told me the same thing.Oh i went with my lawyer on infospass. The lawyer told me he can't do anything until after 6 months pass. My question is should i wait for the 6 months to pass like the lawyer told me or should i contact my congress man. help please.
Is a good idea to contact a congressman if how ? please help
