my case number is 2012AS00032XXX is it considered high, and do I have a good chance for visa?

This year this number became current in July, which is ok if you are doing CP. For AOS it gets more tricky. Anyway, if we assume that 2012 visa bulletin will be similar to last year, then you will have an interview in July. In fact, I did not hear any stories of people not getting a visa because there were no more visas left. (also assuming that you are not a native of oversubscribed country)
 
Concerned_ is right. Your CN is not high at all and the chances of you getting an interview are pretty good. So, prep your docs and good luck!
