Is 485 approval state dependent??????

Guys,

This might look like a question more out of frustration than logic, but I was wondering if INS picks and approves cases on a state priority basis.

Every 2nd Aug'01 approval is for NJ/NY (congrats to those guys). Whatever happens to other states coming under VSC jurisdiction?

May be the applications are more from these two states. Just thinking aloud!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FP notice yes... but processing of 485 NO. I dont think they even consider EB categories at this stage.

Shoudln't be

The reason you see so many NY/NJ cases is that these two states harbor most immigrants on the east coast.
