Is 180 days computed from RD or ND ?

I know this is a basic question. Is the 180 days limit computed from RD or ND ?

It is from RD

Most of the attorneys confirmed this earlier. There are some incidents that INS didnot considered the RD but when attorneys explained, they agreed on RD.
