Do we have to take IRS9003 document for interview? On checking some of the previous threads i found some people have taken this with them.

Anybody please shred some light on this.

Thanks,

You no longer need this form.

What you read is true. Candidates are still caryying this for
various reasons, and not because it is required.

You are perfectly safe not carrying this.

IRS 9003 Form

Hi Raju,

I have printed and filled out this form (IRS9003), thats all there is or should i take it to the IRS Office to stamp it. I am planning to take it (Just in Case) Scenario.

If it is just a matter of filling it up and printing it out then its no big deal. I dont know what else to do with it. Please let us know.

Thanks,
VinCP.

You are more than welcome to take as many forms as required. Please read the letter from Colin Powell in the URL below:

As Raju mentioned it, IRS9003 is not required anymore. I had my CP interview last month and I didn't take it. I had a successful interview and nobody even asked for it.

Good Luck.

You are right. The form is a very simple format. No signatures or
anything. Few check marks and few details. You do not have to
take it to IRS office.

Just for your peace of mind take it. Those who do not have it,
don't worry!

Raju

Thanks Guys

Thank you very much CP Delhi and Raju.

I am just taking it for my peace of mind only. It is not required as per lots of recent people who has gone with the interview.
I am not going to sweat for sailing permit and am not planning to take that.

On top of it, i am taking all my Tax Filings for last 4 years and recent pay stubs.

Thanks again.
Cheers!
VinCP.

How about the Police certificate? I have one from Chicago consulate - do I still need one from Bombay?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Since you got one from the Consulate in Chicage you DO NOT need another one from Bombay.

One important thing though! The PCC that you are carrying should not be older than 6 months when you carry it to the
interview.

If there is such doubt, then apply for a fresh one.

Raju

No, you don't.

answer to your Q;
