HI everyone,first of all thanks to everyone and the moderator for this excellent forum.
I applied for naturalisation and have my interview shortly.I submitted the tax forms which I filed as a dependent as I was a student studying in India at that time.But the last name and the first name on the tax forms have been reversed.I wrote to the IRS and they said they would update it in their records and no further action need to be done.I have a notarised copy of the statement I sent to IRS informing them of this.
The name on the IRS forms correspond with my social security card number except with reversal of first and last names.
So will this be a problem with the INS officer?My name is correct on everything else [on G/card,ss card, Reentry permit etc].Any help would be appreciated.
